Seibuen Amusement Park

Seibuen Amusement Park is located in the border of Saitama prefecture and Tokyo. From Shinjuku and Ikebukuro, It's about 45minutes by train. It opened in 1950 and they had about 194 million visitors in 1988 but because the attractions were becoming old they only has 49 million visitors in 2018 so they decided to renew Seibuen Amusement Park in 2021. They actually renewed it in 1985 so, it's the 2nd time to renew Seibuen. They used to have about 25 kinds of attractions but they only have 13 types of ride attractions in 2019 so I think they made a good decision.

When I went in 2016 ,there were about 20 kinds of attractions. So, I could play for a day but I don't think I want to play for a day if there were only 13 kinds of attractions. I think you get so bored after 2~3 hours.

Pirate Ship(バイキング)

Its maximum angle is 65˚ and its maximum capacity is 45 people. So, it's pretty big and one of the main attractions. If you sit in the very back ,you can feel lots of airtime.

Octopus

Octopus and the Pirate ship are the only thrilling attractions at Seibuen Amusement Park. I like the octopus better than the pirate ship because you can ride longer and I like the wriggling  movement.

Merry Go Round

Sky Fun

Its a similar to a astrofighter but the ride is shaped like an elephant.

Pop'n Smile

There's a Gondola attached on a wall and it goes around.

(It's not a thrill ride)

Strawberry Cafe

Its a tea cup that has a illustration of Melhen Characters.

Angel Coaster

It's a kids coaster located inside the Melhen town. Even if its a kids coaster, it has some speed and it's pretty fast!. By the way, this is the only rollercoaster in Seibuen. It's the exact same layout with the dragon coaster.

Wave Swinger

Big Ferris Wheel.

The hight is 62m and you can see the big landscape of mountains. You can also see fire works and the Illumination too.

The view from the Jairo Tower.

Tobu Zoological Park opened in 1981 and had a total of 1.17 million visitors in 2016. With a total area of 61 hectares, this theme park has a pool, a zoo and even an amusement park. Tobu Zoological Park is a long and narrow with park. The amusement park is located on the east side of the park and a Zoo and a pool is located on the west side. The main transportation between the zoo and the amusement park is the railway or a shuttle bus called Taiyo-no-megumi tetsudou . There used have a ropeway in the past.

The zoo has about 120 kinds of animals such as white tigers and brown bears, monkeys, hippos, elephants and so on.  The pool area has three types of pools and three types of slides. The amusement park is family friendly. The only four thrill rides. The Kawasemi, Godsinger Owe, Music Express, and a pirate ship called Golden Ship. There are 24 attractions for families and kids. Now it's more family friendly, but there used to be a lot of thrill rides such as Wooden Water Coaster Regina, Mount Rocky Coaster, Crazy Mouse, Flying Carpet, G-max, and Firebird.

Kawasemi is an ordinary medium-sized roller coaster in terms of length, height, and speed, but there's so much air time. It feels like you're flying and that you're floating. It's as exhilarating as Steel Dragon 2000, so if you live in the Kanto area and can't go to Nagashima Spa Land, I will recommend this coaster. Kawasemi are found all over the world in models called megalight. There was the exact same coaster at Happy valley Shanghai but when I visited it was not operating so I couldn't ride it.

The first drop is so cool and I think its the best spot in Kawasemi. Kawasemi is based on a bird called king fisher. Then there are some camel backs and every camel back has so much airtime. It feels so good when you are riding this. I think its the most comfortable ride in Japan and It's definitely  the best coaster in Northern Kanto. This coaster was made where the Mount Rocky Coaster was. Mount Rocky Coaster was a steel coaster that was located in the center of Tobu Amusement park. Because it was in the center it was more popular than Regina because Regina was in the back of the park.

Wooden Water Coaster Regina

Its a wooden coaster on the water. Its the was the only coaster in the Kanto Prefecture.  There's only 3 wooden coasters in Japan. (Now in 2020). It is closed now.

Construction Intamin

Total length: 1334m

Height: 33 meters.

Top speed 90.2 kilometers per hour.

Maximum tilt angle: 50 degrees

Capacity: 28 people

Total construction cost: 2.7 billion yen.

Maximum plus G. 2.78km.

Fee: 1,000 yen

Height limit 120cm or more

Opened in 2000.

There's a lot of vibration and I can't say the ride is comfortable. By the way I've rode 3 Wodden Coasters before but Regina is the worst wooden coasters. Why? because compared to other wooden coasters Regina doesn't run a lot inside woods like the White cyclone and not as long and Regina is on the water but the water is not clean. So I think Regina is not as good compared to other wooden coasters. And I definitely recommend Kawasemi better than the Regina.

My Best Wooden Roller Coasters I've ridden

1 White Cyclone (Closed)

2 Wooden Coaster Fire Ball

3 Regina (Closed)

God Swinger ~Oue~

Ema san no Cheeze Fusha(エマさんのチーズ風車)

The hight is 51m and It had the longest waiting line. It was about 1 hours. Its in the center of the park so you can see both the zoo and the amusement park.

Astrofighter

In the ride in the left. Its an normal astrofighter.

Carusel Water Lili

Its an Italian Merry Go Round. Same as Tokyo Dome City its on the water.

Other than these attractions there are a lot more fun attraction such as music express, sky cycle, 2 family coasters, A Go Kart and many more.
