I was finally able to go to a amusement park called Sagamiko Pleasure Forest in February, which I have been interested in for a long time. What kind of place is Sagamiko Pleasure Forest? Sagamiko Pleasure Forest is an amusement park located near Lake Sagamiko. It also has a camp site. Sagamiko Pleasure Forest became famous because there is a huge athletic, called Muscle Monster. The rainbow lift is famous too. The main event in the winter but there are also thrill rides too. There are two thrill rides on the top of the mountain. One called Ozora Tengoku(大空天国）and the other called Gokuraku Pilot. The Ozora Tengoku has two huge swings and these swings swing up to 25m with a top speed of 80km. The Gokuraku Pilot is an attraction that you can turn 360˚. The same attraction is in Lego Land Japan. Beside these attractions there are cart attractions such as buggy cart, F1 Cart.... Children's rides such as sky cycle, tea cup, rides inside the Paddington Town and some more athletics. Here's a little bit about the Muscle Monster. Muscle Monster is a giant, hexagonal shaped athletic. This the first huge athletic in Asia and of course in Japan too. There are 92 different activities and an observatory tower. There is also a huge swing called the Giant swing. It was on maintenance when I went there, but I looked fun so I hope you guys enjoy it. By the way, Muscle Monster is 1,500 yen for an hour, but you can do it for 1,000 yen if you have a free pass or stay in Sagamiko Pleasure Forest. The Giant Swing is 400 yen for adults and children. By the way a new attraction was made in 2020 May next to the Muscle Monster. Its called the Futen. Its a huge suspension bridge. It is located above 22m from the ground. There are 8 types of bridges and 4 types of courses.

It's on top of a mountain and there is a cliff too so its like you will be getting off the mountain. It's worth coming to Sagamiko Pleasure Forest to come and experience just this. It was a new feeling that I had never tasted before. First it was supposed to be in Fujikyu Highland but in Fujikyu Highland there are some similar attractions so it was decided to be in Sagamiko Pleasure Forest. This is the model called the Screaming Swing and there's the same attraction in overseas but most of them are on a normal ground so the one in Sagamiko Pleasure Forest is so unique so even if you have rode it before in other places I recommend you riding the one in Sagamiko Pleasure Forest too. And its also the only Screaming Swinger in Japan.

It's similar to the Tenkomai in Fujikyu Highland. You can turn the ride 360˚ but it's hard very hard to turn 360˚. If you flap the wings, it will turn but because the swings were so heavy it was hard to flap. I rode it more than 5 times but I couldn't turn it 360˚. I could only turn it about 300˚. I have rode the Tentekomai before but the Gokuraku Pilot is more fun because the Tentekomai doesn't move up and down but this one does and its on the top of the mountain so you will feel higher than the Tentekomai. The same model called Flying Ninja Go is located at LEGOLAND Japan in Nagoya.

Its 100yen. You can't do this with a free pass. The aisle will move. Just it. I think its so boring. I think 100 yen for this is too expensive and I recommend you not going in.

Paddington Bears Flying Swinger
Its a very small chain tower. When it starts and ends your leg will touch the ground so you have to be careful. When its spinning its so low and slow so its not thrilling at all.

Its a cart type attraction. This is Sagamiko Pleasure Forest's most popular attraction and its total length is 850m. It runs in the forest so it was long and very fun. It runs on top of the red bridge too.
Sky Rider
Its a sky cycle. You row the pedal like a bicycle and if you row the pedal it goes forward.

Its a 1200m long Go Kart. There are lots of up downs and its a very hard course. I rode it but it was very difficult and it stopped in the middle of the course too.
Paddington Town
Its the world's first theme land based on Paddington. There are roller coasters, trains, a shooting ride, and 2 kinds of mazes.
Totsugeki Paddington Tankentai(突撃パディントン探検隊）
Its the only coaster in Sagamiko Pleasure Forest. Its a family coaster and has no big drops.
Paddington's Mirror House
Its a mirror maze. There are lots of tricks inside the house.
The bathroom and the vending machine is based on Paddington too.
Departure Paddington Go(しゅっぱつパディントン号）
Its a train located inside the Paddington town.
Go Paddington Firefighter（出動パディントン消防隊）
I think its the most boring attraction in Sagamiko Pleasure Forest. Its a shooting ride but I think its not fun at all. But if you like shooting rides maybe you will like it.
Tarzan Mania
Its a athletic that is in the park. There are 12 types of wood athletic. There are many types of athletic and you can go up, jump, pull, balance your self and many more. There are athletics even on the water.

Sagamiko Pleasure Forest is not too far from Tokyo there are also thrill machines, athletics, and small attractions but I thought something was missing. There are about 20 kinds of attractions, which is about the same as a small amusement park, but I thought there are not enough thrill rides. There's Gokuraku Pilot and Ozora Tengoku, but thats it so you'll get bored after an hour or so. One hour for the Muscle Monster, One hour to thrill rides, and one hour to the other attractions, would be enough so a total of three to four hours will be enough for you. The solution to this problem is to increase the number of attractions to about 30 attractions, and I think there will be a lot of customers who will come for the amusement park. But instead of just adding more attractions, I think they should take advantage of the mountain and the slope. For example, I think it would be interesting to make a roller coaster similar to the Canadian Jet Rider that used to be at Tama Tech. But the Canadian Jet Rider was very short so I think it would be a good idea to make it a longer course, about 1000 meters, to attract more visitors. Also, there was one more thing I wanted Sagamiko Pleasure Forest to improve. There is too few places to grab a snack and to eat. Sagamiko Pleasure Forest has one restaurant, two food stands, and two places to barbecue. Its enough for small amusement parks but Sagamiko Pleasure Forest is pretty big so they should have more kinds of food stands and restaurants because I think most people probably don't feel like going to an amusement park and doing barbecue, right? For example, if it's winter its open until 8:00 or9:00.When they have illuminations you might have lunch and dinner at the amusement park. If there was only one restaurant you would have to eat your meal at the same restaurant both lunch and dinner. In fact, I ate both lunch and dinner at a restaurant called Wild Dining, it was delicious, but it was similar menus so I got bored of the taste. So I think it would be better to build a mountain top restaurant at the top of the mountain or one at the base of the mountain. So far I've only mentioned the improvements/bad points of Sagamiko Pleasure Forest but of course there are many good attractions. Muscle Monster gives you a feeling that no other amusement park gives. Muscle Monster is the Asia's first huge climbing attraction. When you ride no the Ozora Tengoku you feel like you're being thrown out. There are also 3 types of cart attractions, 6 types of athletic and the first Paddington Town in the world. If you are planning to go to Sagamiko Pleasure Forest I recommend you to go during the season of illumination (winter).
Muscle Monster
Muscle Monster is one of the main attractions of Sagamiko Pleasure forest. Its the first huge climbing attraction In the Continent of Asia. There are 92 types of activities in a 3 floor hexagon shape colosseum.The highest point is 16.1m and on the top there is an observatory tower and you can see Lake Sagami. You can ride on a bike, ring the bell, go on a very thin board and many more. In 2020 a new athletic called Fu Ten opened next to the muscle monster. Its a suspension bridge.
